Major congratulations are due to the Healthy Living Collaborative SW for being a part of ten Community Collaboratives in Oregon and SW Washington to receive a collective grant of $850,000! All ten collaboratives have a shared five-year agenda to promote healthier childhoods in their communities. “Communities are the best advocates for their children’s health,” said Kachina Inman, Executive Director of the Healthy Living Collaborative. “Working together, communities can forge connections and collaborate to improve health for all children in our region.” Included in the five-year agenda to advance health equity is a social justice training program for their staff and partners. Stay tuned for more news from HLC-SW.
